This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I've only just started uploading my photos onto this thing. I love film cameras but 'upgraded' to a digital camera two years ago and so the majority of my shots will be from that. However, you can tell the photos from film as they have that amazing film look about them which I love completely. I keep meaning to put my film photos onto cd or something so I can upload more of them, but there is nothing quite like flicking through photos instead. It's funny though, because I bought a digital SLR (which I love to pieces) but for some reason I just can't go past the old film look you get from the older cameras. And the fact that once you chose a film, you were stuck with that ISO until the roll was over. It made you really think about the shots you were going to take and concentrate on how you were going to take them. That's what I miss when using digital. It seems we've taken convenience over... I don't know what exactly - that subtle yet satisfying feeling you get when using a film camera and see the photos developed for the first time. It's an anticipation of how the photo actually turned out.
I think on my next trip I'll take both my film and digital SLR and see where it gets me.

Horribly intrusive watermarks are tacky. If you're concerned about people stealing your photos, don't post them on the internet.
Photography is the simultaneous recognition, in a fraction of a second, of the significance of an event. (HCB)
